Martial Arts training is a fun way for children to develop
stronger discipline, increase their confidence, and learn positive conflict
resolution skills. Children who participate in martial arts classes not only gain
strength, grace, and flexibility, they also become calmer, more patient, and
have better self-esteem.
At Cookeville Aikido we combine traditional training methods
with modern educational tools and methods to create the most effective teaching
strategies possible. In addition to martial arts drills and training exercises,
children receive lots of positive feedback and play training “games” to create
a fun, upbeat environment. We also go to great lengths to ensure the safety of
the children who train with us. Everything from the state of the art flooring
to the dojo rules is designed to ensure the safety of our smaller martial artists.
We are now enrolling new students for our children’s
martial arts program. Please call or text (931) 644-5022, or email Mark Clark at [email protected] for
questions or to set up an appointment for a free trial class.
